The Dome – An Interfaith Practice Space
With its stunning interior and remarkable acoustics, the Lindisfarne Dome serves as the main practice and retreat space for summer group programs. Originally conceived as an interfaith sanctuary, the 2,800 square foot Dome is a uniquely powerful space for group retreat activities. (For more photos, please take a look at our photo gallery).
Meditation Hall
In addition, our traditional Japanese meditation hall (Zendo) can be used for silent sitting meditation and has room for up to 40 people. (The photograph on the top of this page shows the Zendo during meditation.)
Campus and Accommodations
Besides the Dome and the Zendo, our campus includes a Main House with kitchen, community space and large dining hall, a Japanese style tea house, a Guest House, and a workshop with a former pottery studio that was converted into a dormitory. A yurt and several small cabins are also available. Currently we are able to accommodate a maximum of 26 people, but for larger groups, participants can use the Dome for “camping” at a reduced rate or stay at local inns.
