Practice Period Scholarship Information
A limited number of scholarships for Practice Period are available to practitioners with an established relationship to CMZC. They are granted to practitioners who can demonstrate financial need.
Financial need is defined as the inability to pay for a program in full because of a person’s total financial situation (both assets and cash flow). A serious medical condition causing financial hardship will be considered as an important factor constituting financial need.
The total number of scholarships and the amount of each individual scholarship will be determined on the basis of expected program expenses and the number of applicants. Practice Period scholarship applications should be completed no later than November 1, 2013. A scholarship committee consisting of the CMZC’s residential teachers, director, and treasurer will review the application and announce awards around November 15, that is two months prior to the Practice Period.
To apply for a Practice Period scholarship you need to:
- have been admitted to Practice Period by the Head Teacher
- have paid a $500 application fee
- have completed the online application form (see below)
If you are awarded a scholarship, the application fee will be applied toward the balance due. If you are not awarded a scholarship, the application fee will be either refunded to you or, should you choose, applied to your full-cost payment.
