We invite you to join us for our July Zazenkai (sitting intensive). Varying in length between 2 and 4 days, a Zazenkai is a silent mini-retreat. We follow a sesshin-like schedule; most of the day is dedicated to zazen but includes chanting, a work period, walks, and a dharma talk given by a senior practitioner.
We begin the evening of July 14th with a Welcome Dinner, and end on July 17th after Brunch.
No prior experience is required to join a Zazenkai. It is a great way to experience your first extended sit, so is a perfect opportunity for newer students. For experienced practitioners, it provides the chance to reinvigorate practice, or just to experience some spaciousness in otherwise busy lives.
Please join us for this mid-summer practice event.
