Join us for this Seminar, titled Introduction into Zen Practice,  led by Tatsudo Nicole Baden Roshi.
The Seminar will begin in the evening with an opening dinner and end on Sunday after brunch. The Seminar will include morning, afternoon, and evening Zazen, service in the Zendo, and a period of work practice. The topic will be developed through dharma talks and discussions .
Tatsudo Roshi will be leading the Practice Week onsite and online. The online version will begin one week prior to the seminar, and will continue for one week after.
Participants do not need to have experience with Zen practice or familiarity with previous events at CMZC to attend. This event is beginner friendly and allows the opportunity to explore integrating the practice on and off the cushion.

Teachers

Tatsudo Nicole Baden Roshi

Tatsudo Nicole Baden Roshi is a Dharma Successor of Zentatsu Baker Roshi in the Dharma Sangha Soto Zen Lineage. She has been practicing Zen since 2001 and received Dharma Transmission in 2017. She graduated as a psychologist from the University of Oldenburg in 2008. She also trained at the ‘School for Body Mind Centering’ for four years. Since 2009 she has been living and practicing either at the Crestone Mountain Zen Center or at the Zen Buddhist Center Schwarzwald (ZBZS) in Germany.
